Our jewelry is designed for the altruistic who are mindful of what they buy and how and where it is crafted. “Made in NYC” means that we know the people we work with and that you can feel good about wearing our jewelry.

Our jewelry is ethically made in NYC and designed and produced using sustainable materials. Our metals are 100% recycled 14kt gold and sterling silver, all natural stones are ethically-sourced and diamonds are lab grown or reclaimed. Plus, our production partner in NYC goes the extra mile to ensure all jewelry is crafted with the lightest carbon footprint possible.

Our Story From the Pages of Harper's Bazaar to Present

Founded by jewelry designers, Regan Caton and Betsy Milliken, the duo gained experience and notoriety in the industry with their successful line of costume jewelry, Rumblefish. Their pieces garnered praise from celebrities and top-notch magazines such as Vogue, WWD, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle and more. The line was sold through Bergdorf Goodmans, Barneys, Saks Fifth Ave and various high-end boutiques.

 

As time went on, life happened and Rumblefish was put on hold as Caton and Milliken’s paths took them in different directions. Thanks to their bond of friendship and shared passion for designing, the two launched Charmed By a Cause, a socially and environmentally responsible line of fine jewelry and charms.

Charmed By a Cause is an inspiring brand that is operated in both New York City and Montclair, New Jersey, just 12 miles west of Manhattan. Driven by their mission to give back and form meaningful connections, Charmed By a Cause offers timeless pieces, plus the opportunity to create custom charms that will help raise awareness and funds for non-profits and organizations, jewelry that inspires and speaks for itself.
