Throughout 2026, 10% of all Charmed by a Cause jewelry purchases will support initiatives aligned with Text Power Telling’s mission on our website and our shared Montclair retail space, Coffee Table Collective.

About Text Power Telling

Text Power Telling is a Montclair-based nonprofit that creates safe, supportive spaces where survivors of sexual trauma use writing as a transformative and healing practice. Through trauma-informed workshops and creative programming, participants are invited to reclaim voice, agency, and authorship of their own stories.

Sexual trauma can disrupt language and identity. Text Power Telling exists to restore ownership of narrative — allowing individuals to explore truth, complexity, and healing on their own terms.

In addition, their For Those Who Help blog provides a platform for clinicians, first responders, and community partners to share research, expertise, and lived insight, strengthening a broader network of care.

We first connected with the founder of Text Power Telling at a local art event. Discovering that their nonprofit is rooted in the same community where we live and work made this partnership especially meaningful.
